About TCFA

The purpose of the TCFA shall be to preserve the Celtic customs and cultures through educational programs and the production of the annual Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games and other Celtic events.

The TCFA fosters national and international sports competition to support and develop athletes for competition in traditional Scottish athletic contests worldwide. The TCFA supports Highland Dance competition and Piping contests when feasible.

The Tucson Celtic Festival Association (TCFA) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich heritage of customs and traditions of all Celtic peoples (Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and British) within the greater Tucson community. We promote Celtic cultural awareness and appreciation of diversity. For over 30 years, we have produced the annual Tucson Celtic Festival and Scottish Highland Games. This festival serves as a vibrant gathering place for those interested in Celtic culture, offering opportunities to participate in and enjoy various Celtic arts, traditional dress, crafts, foods, vendors, music, dance, literature, language, and athletics through demonstrations, reenactments, performances, and competitions.

National and international organizations, such as Scottish Clans and Celtic Cultural Societies, are invited to attend and host educational and informational booths. It’s a wonderful opportunity to renew old friendships, forge new ones, enjoy captivating music, pipe bands, dancers, and delightful food treats. A festive atmosphere of fun and adventure permeates the event!

We also invite you to join us for other engaging Celtic celebrations, including St. Patrick’s Day, Tartan Day, and our lovely Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea. As an all-volunteer organization, we are passionate about our mission and always welcome new members to join our endeavors.
